Edit a Personal Dictionary Item

To edit a word in the Personal Dictionary list, do the following:

1. From the Navigation menu select: Tools > Spell Check.

2. The Spell-check form is then displayed and defaults to the Preferences tab. Complete the steps below to set the report details.

Personal dictionary tab : Click the Personal dictionary tab to switch the view.

Edit button : Click the edit button to enable the dictionary item that you wish to edit. This will toggle the edit button to show the SAVE button.

Dictionary item : Click in the dictionary item field. This will highlight the field and allow you to manually edit or paste a copied word.

SAVE button : To save the change, click the Save button. The field will disable and the button will toggle back to show the edit button.

CANCEL button : To reject the change and retain the original spelling of the word, click the Cancel button. This will disable the field.
